Gorgeous Gaming
With digital gaming ever on the rise, Monument Valley is surely placed as one of the best. The game, which recently won the Apple Design Award 2014, takes you through an array of Escher-like mazes, based on concepts drawings by artist Ken Wong. Monument Valley has received some great reviews, with over two million copies being sold in the first nine months.

Can you see what I see?
Artists Cleary and Denis Connolly have spent several years developing an extraordinary series of interactive, odd-shaped helmets which feature unique “eyes” to let you see the world as if you are a hammerhead shark, giraffe, horse and chameleon. The interactive helmets are currently on display at the Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris.
An”unruly mass” of hoses
Artist Bertrand Lavier has recently installed a display of brightly coloured hoses, in the arrangement of a classical fountain. His work can currently be found in front of Zaha Hadid’s atrium of the London’s Serpentine Sackler Gallery.
Type artistry
A humorous and diverse exhibition had just opened at The Book Club bar in East London. It’s gone for a light hearted approach based on fictional, rather bizarre slogans, all hand-painted by a variety of artists. Exhibition organiser Ged Palmer focused on injecting humour into great design, in order to steer away from the typical ‘functional’, perhaps dull sign.
The exhibition runs until 12th April 2015 so be sure to check it out.

‘Don’t play with your food’
Argentina-based food stylist Anna Keville Joyce creates ornate designs using 100% food elements. By using ingredients such as carrots and radishes, Anna’s produces beautiful illustrations, where she specialises in landscapes and birds. Of course, with her art being food, means that there’s no other option but to throw out the artwork, which can be a sad thought when creating such attractive pieces of art.
